The Hurricane is coming! The Hurrican is coming!
So, we are closing up shop at noon today and will be closed until Monday. Man, I just love being a govt. worker!!!
Anyway, Erin and I already had plans to travel home to St. Louis for the weekend to go on our annual Apple Picking excursion. Instead of leaving on Friday and making a whirlwind trip, we have decided that we are going to leave today when she gets out of school (her school has canceled classes tomorrow and possible Friday). Get away from all these crazies. Everyone is freaking out up here. You can't buy any water, ice, batteries, flashlights, or candles. Wal-Mart is overrun with myrmidons. I don't really understand it. We are 200 miles inland. We will get some wind and some rain. Nothing that is unusual for a summer in Alabama.
Well, gotta go. We are backing up systems and prepping to take them offline for the weekend.
