Speed Limits are Too Slow
This report states that problem with speed limits is that they are too slow.
I could've told you that.

I'm glad I dont live in the northeast. Poor New Yorkers, Pensylvanians, etc. I have never seen so ridiculously low posted interstate speed limits. The ultimate push of the evelope, by bumping up from 55mph to the "insanely intense" 65mph is accompanied with any concievable wordings to make sure people dont go even a mile over. Zero tolerance statements like: "double fines for speeding" over the 65 limit, or "targeted enforcement". Think about it for a while: during the holocaust the jews were hunted down by the Gestapo.
By accident my GPS navigator diverted me off I-76, onto highway 222. It was funny to compare speed limits: the 222 literally drives no furter than 40 yards from the living rooms of the houses, yet 55 mph is allowed. The I-76 is in the middle of wilderness, with all the bells and whistles of a modern design interstate, yet the speed is no more than 65mph, followed up with patronizing signs. Whats next? Capital punishment re-introduced in the state of NY and PA, for driving 70mph on the interstate?
